Waldegraves Holiday Park has come a long way since the days when it used to be mixed stock rearing and arable farm. It started with Jack Lord in the 1940’s who then passed it on to his son David Lord who developed the park into what you see today. 2018 marked 70 glorious years in business for Waldegraves Holiday Park! We’ve come a long way since those early days, what began as a few caravans sited along the coast in 1948 has blossomed into one of the county’s most popular destinations for touring, camping and caravan holidays.
Waldegraves is located on Mersea Island, famous for its Oysters and beautiful scenery. Tourists visit the local town of Colchester and can easily travel from London and the South East. We are offering family holidays from camping to luxury caravan breaks, activities for all the family and the choice of fun packed or tranquil locations. Families can make their holiday last a lifetime by owning their own holiday home caravan.
